At Aylesbury Vale Youth for Christ we’re about seeing young people’s lives changed by Jesus. We’re convinced that God loves them, has a good plan for their lives and wants them to know him. So we run weekly schools work, joined up youth groups (which are hosted online and in person), monthly Christian worship events, socials and seasonal activities. We do all this work in close partnership with local Christian Youth Leaders with the aim of creating caring community and encouraging young people to consider the claims of Jesus. We encourage young people to pray together, think deeply about life’s biggest questions, read the bible together, support one another and learn from each other’s perspectives. All our activities are open to those of all faiths and no faith at all and are taking place in ways that are Covid Secure in line with Government and National Youth Agency Guidelines.
Online registration is a very important aspect of our work as it allows us to communicate freely and safely with parents, young people, youth leaders and church leaders. To ensure that young people are taken care of we ask that a parent registers their young person prior to them attending one of our events, either online or in person.
If you’re the parent or guardian of a young person
We put a high priority on taking care of the young people that we work with and want to ensure we have all the information we need. Registering your young person confirms that you consent to them coming to any of our activities that take place outside of school. The information we gather here will be used to contact you regarding the activities they’re involved in and to ensure their health and wellbeing.
If you’re a young person
If you’re 13 or over, you’re free to submit your details online using the form linked below. Please make sure your parent or guardian is aware before you do this, as they’ll receive automated notification of your registration. You won’t be able to register without parent or guardian details. Please ensure you’re adding the correct details in the correct places, it all gets explained when you click through!
If you’d like to volunteer with us
Everything we run takes place in close partnership with the Christian Youth Leaders Network. Together we assemble volunteers from across the local church and registering with us is an essential step in this process. Before you do this however, please clarify your involvement as a volunteer with your church’s CYLN member. We defer to them when it comes to who volunteers in our contexts.
